Sri Lanka in India Three Test, five ODI and Two T20 match series

Sri Lanka will be looking for the elusive test match and series win when they tour India for a Three Test, five ODI and Two T20 match series from November to December 2009. The team arrive in India on November 8th for the 55-day tour.

Neo Cricket gets rights to telecast BCCI's Corporate Trophy

Neo Cricket will air the BCCI Corporate Trophy from 1-8 September, in which 12 corporates will take part involving several Indian national players who are employed by these companies. The event will take place in four venues - Mohali, Vishakapatnam, Dharamsala and Bangalore. Neo Sports broadcast is BCCI's broadcast partner.
The teams have been divided into four groups of three each for the league phase to be played from 1-3 September. This will be followed by the semi-finals on 5 and 6 September at Mohali and Bangalore, followed by the final at Bangalore. The winners stand to receive Rs 10 million while the runners-up will get to pocket Rs 5 million.
Reliance and Chemplast were not included in the Corporate Cup.

The four groups are:
Group A (Mohali): Indian Revenue, ITC, Air India (Blue)
Group B (Vishakhapatnam): BPCL, MRF, ONGC
Group C (Dharamsala): All India Public Sector Sports Promotion Board, Tatas, Indian Oil
Group D (Bangalore): Air India (Red), India Cements, BPCL

The Board of Control for Cricket in India, or BCCI, is the governing body for cricket in India. This is India's richest sporting body. The President of BCCI is Sharad Pawar (elected 29 November, 2005). Niranjan Shah is the secretary.
All the office-bearers for the year 2004-05, were elected at the annual general meeting of the Board held in Kolkata.
On January 10, 2005, the Supreme Court of India ordered the removal of Jagmohan Dalmiya from the post of patron-in-chief of BCCI and also asked the board to complete its annual general meeting (AGM) which had been adjourned on September 30, 2004.
The legality of the office-bearer's election at the board's annual general meeting (AGM) held on September 29, 2004 is subjudice.

The Champions Twenty20 League, formed with the official sanction of ICC will kick off in October 2008. Eight domestic teams from four nations will participate. Cricket Australia will partner the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket South Africa (CSA).
